Andrew qualified with Masters degree in Osteopathy, from the London School of Osteopathy, and offers a range of treatment approaches suitable to your individual needs and preferences. Andrew is primarily a structural osteopath but uses a variety of techniques including cranial osteopathy. As well as qualifications in advanced soft tissue therapies, which include massage and stretching type treatments, he also uses dry needling which is a western form of acupuncture.
Andrew has lots of experience with sports injuries at all levels from weekend warrior to professional players. Andrew is a fully qualified personal trainer giving him a unique perspective on how lifestyle can impact pain and recovery. This combined approach allows him to put together detailed and bespoke treatment plans taking into account your body from a holistic perspective, this may include advice on stretching, exercise and nutrition to help enhance the results from treatments.
Andrew is very empathetic having suffered a back injury himself. The successful treatment and rehab from this prompted him to change careers so he can help other people in similar situations. Andrew has a passion for helping people and is a strong believer in getting people more active and back to the things they enjoy; he gives patients exercise, lifestyle and nutrition advice to follow when not in the Clinic to maximize recovery.
When not at work Andrew likes to keep fit and competes at powerlifting (a form of weightlifting).
Andrew is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and registered with the General Osteopathy Council. Andrew is involved in academic research to further knowledge within the osteopathic profession; he is also involved in teaching osteopathic techniques at a London university.
