Elaine is the Clinic’s Practice Manager and is responsible for the day to day running of the clinic from an administrative perspective. As part of her role Elaine manages the upkeep of all clinic data. This includes ensuring that patients’ details are correct and up to date, maintaining a high standard of confidentiality at all times.
Elaine also works with the Shefford Osteopathic Clinic team to check that everyone adheres to the required regulations for safeguarding patients and that all procedures and standards comply with the appropriate professional and legal requirements, including the General Data Protection Regulation.
Originally trained as a Graphic Designer and Technical Illustrator, Elaine still enjoys all things art related and likes nothing better than a walk with her camera.
Elaine does not have contact with patients on a day to day basis, but she does help out with enquiries and patient queries.

What do you love about your job?
The satisfaction of getting everything into an organised system. The interaction with the team. Learning new things about osteopathy, that I was not previous aware of.
What is the one surprising thing most people don’t know about you?
I love to dance the tango!
