Following an operation for breast cancer 6 years ago, a tendon from my shoulder became caught in the scar tissue.  Gradually my shoulder became more limited in range and very painful, so that every move became a wince!  Eventually, despite taking pain killers, it became so bad that it was waking me at night, it hurt to drive the car, and even cleaning the sink was agony.  At 70, I guessed it was something I would have to learn to live with, until my step daughter, herself a paramedic, suggested I tried an osteopath.   She recommended Karen, and in desperation rather than belief, I made an appointment.

That was just before Christmas.  Now, 5 months later, I feel like a new person.  I go days without even thinking about the shoulder.  Not only was the treatment excellent, but everything was explained to me, and I was encouraged to think about how I was aggravating the problem and how to overcome bad habits.

I now face the prospect of a pain free future, and the ability to do all the things I previously enjoyed, such as Keep Fit, Church Bell ringing, driving, and, perhaps most importantly, an undisturbed night’s sleep
