By road
We have a free car park in front of the Clinic which you are able to use. If the car park is full you may leave your car on the road. Alternatively if you turn left out of the Clinic car park you will see a road to the right and then a road to the left – there should be space to park your car in either of these roads.

At the first roundabout you have 2 options, to go left into Shefford and through the town or carry straight on up the hill to the next roundabout.
If you go left at the roundabout, stay on this road, straight over the mini roundabout and you come into Shefford. At the traffic lights go straight over. You will go over a bridge and pass a turning first on your right and then on your left. On your left hand side you will now see Berry House Vets – the Clinic ( Hing Opticians) will now be opposite you.
Continue on the A600 up the hill. At the roundabout you can either turn left or continue straight on if you wish to avoid the centre of Shefford.
If you turn left you will go down into Shefford and carry on until you reach the traffic lights. Here you will turn right and then you will go over a bridge and pass a turning first on your right and then on your left. On your left hand side you will now see Berry House Vets – the Clinic ( Hing Opticians) will now be opposite you.
If you carry straight on, you are now on the A507. At the next roundabout, this has an Esso/Tesco petrol station on the left, turn left. Continue straight over the mini roundabout and traffic calming measures and follow this round to the end. You will pass the fire station on your left toward the end of the road. At the end of the road turn right. You will see Berry House Vets. Opposite, but set back from the road, will be the Clinic which is based at Hing Opticians.
From the A6/A507 roundabout you will follow the A507 and as you near Shefford go straight over the mini roundabout at Chicksands. At the roundabout with the A600 and A507 you have 2 choices.
You can either turn left or continue straight on if you wish to avoid the centre of Shefford.
If you carry straight on you will go down into Shefford and carry on until you reach the traffic lights. Here you will turn right and then you will go over a bridge and pass a turning first on your right and then on your left. On your left hand side you will now see Berry House Vets – the Clinic ( Hing Opticians) will now be opposite you.
If you turn right you stay on the A507. At the next roundabout, this has an Esso/Tesco petrol station on the left, turn left. Continue straight over the mini roundabout and traffic calming measures and follow this round to the end. You will pass the fire station on your left toward the end of the road. At the end of the road turn right. You will see Berry House Vets. Opposite, but set back from the road, will be the Clinic which is based at Hing Opticians.
You will either be on the A600 or join it at the Bird in Hand Pub roundabout in Lower Stondon/Henlow.
Continue along the A600 (you will pass the greyhound racing track on your left) until you get to the next roundabout which has the Carriage House Inn on the left hand side. This roundabout joins with the A507. You want to take the 3rd exit into Shefford.
You will go up a slight hill and then drop into Shefford, passing the Shefford Health Centre on your right hand side. Continue until you come to a mini roundabout – and stay left. You might have a few parked cars here on the left hand side, and there is a funeral directors also on the left. If you look ahead you will see Berry House Vets on the right hand side. Opposite, but set back from the road, will be the Clinic which is based at Hing Opticians.
From the A1 the A507 runs straight to Shefford with various roundabouts which you will join at. The roundabout you are looking for is the one with the Carriage House Inn on the left hand side. You want to turn right taking the 4th exit into Shefford. You will go up a slight hill and then drop into Shefford, passing the Shefford Health Centre on your right hand side. Continue until you come to a mini roundabout – and stay left. You might have a few parked cars here on the left hand side, and there is a funeral directors also on the left. If you look ahead you will see Berry House Vets on the right hand side. Opposite, but set back from the road, will be the Clinic which is based at Hing Opticians.
You will join the B658 at various places, but continue along this road towards Shefford. As you approach Shefford you will see a large new housing estate on your left with a mini roundabout which you continue over. At the next roundabout you will need to turn left. You will now drive into Shefford centre and at the traffic lights go straight over. You will go over a bridge and pass a turning first on your right and then on your left. On your left hand side you will now see Berry House Vets. Opposite, but set back from the road, will be the Clinic which is based at Hing Opticians.
If you wish to avoid the centre of Shefford you can turn right (instead of left) at the mini roundabout and this will take you up to a roundabout and the A600. Turn right here and continue on the A600 up the hill. At the roundabout you can either turn left or continue straight on if you wish to avoid the centre of Shefford.
If you turn left you will go down into Shefford and carry on until you reach the traffic lights. Here you will turn right and then you will go over a bridge and pass a turning first on your right and then on your left. On your left had side you will now see Berry House Vets. Opposite, but set back from the road, will be the Clinic which is based at Hing Opticians.

By bus
Stage coach 71/72 Bedford – Haynes – Shefford – Henlow -Henlow Camp/Arlesey – Hitchin.
Runs every half hour and drops off in Ivel Road, Shefford. 3 minutes walk. Walk to the T-junction and turn right. You will see Berry House Vets ahead. Opposite, but set back from the road, will be the Clinic which is based at Hing Opticians.
Centre bus 79 Meppershall –Upper Gravenhurst – Campton – Chicksands – Shefford – Shillington – Barton Le Clay – Luton.
Runs every 3 hours and drops off in the High Street. Turn right at the traffic lights and walk down Clifton Road for 5 minutes. You will see Berry House Vets ahead. Opposite, but set back from the road, will be the Clinic which is based at Hing Opticians.

The nearest train station to Shefford Osteopathic Clinic is ARLESEY which is 5 miles away. This is served by Great Northern. There are taxis and a bus service available.
